After seeing so many airstreamers on utube I had to bite the bullet and try them. Was kinda expensive but it appears that they are worth it. It's made a tremendous difference in the air flow in my 2022 airstream flying cloud. So far I'm completely satisfied. Airstream should be installing these at the factory. Thank you
Overall, these new satin vents are a great addition to our Airstream. Quality product, very user friendly installation process with the locking tabs, and the new airflow is phenomenal! One vent we received does have a damper door that seems to be a little off, so it’s harder to close, but I’m sure once I reach out they’ll have a solution for that. Great product!
The AirGear guy posted a mod on YouTube utilizing rivets and magnets. Mine did not hold up to travel and were not secure. I ended up buying new intake covers and this kit. At first the rivet tool didn’t do anything. I turned the front nut moving it a little forward and then it worked great.
Sure helped me correct a bad situation.
The thumbscrews extend a little more then I like, but very happy.
Game changer in our 26u with 1 a/c. Was considering a 2nd a/c and these vents eliminated having to do that. Extremely happy with purchase. And they look great also.
