Upgrade your trailer with modern smart security using this Smart Lock Adapter Kit designed for Airstream models equipped with a Trimark deadbolt. This kit allows the August Smart Lock (sold separately) to work seamlessly by using a custom-designed plastic adapter that connects the lock’s shaft to the existing deadbolt mechanism.
To enhance usability, the kit includes a weatherproof keypad enclosure that protects the August keypad (sold separately). It installs easily with VHB tape—no drilling needed—and features an adjustable flip-up cover with magnetic latch.
The kit also features a stronger DoorSense™ replacement sensor, designed specifically for Airstream doors. The upgraded sensor improves reliability by detecting when the door is fully closed—essential for enabling auto-locking and other smart features that depend on accurate door status.
For added reliability during transit, the kit also includes a Vibration-Lock Stability Ring—a flexible band that slides behind the August lock to help prevent the mounting arms from loosening due to shaking or vibration.

All fit nicely. Magnet was the problem but great service at Riveted came through and all works well including the shaft match part.

Door sensor didn’t work properly
Door sensor didn’t work properly. It doesn’t matter. I can live without the door sensor. Regardless of where I position it, I can’t calibrate the lock with the door sensor. The lock works great!!

The stainless steel thumbscrews look great and make it much easier to remove and clean the air intake filters. Riverted Market’s (RM) customer service proved exceptionally responsive and helpful when I contacted them about a slight inward bend of the vent grill when tightening the thumb screws. RM sent me tight fit washers for each thumbscrew that eliminated the problem. Like other RM products I’ve purchased and installed in my Airstream, these are a great upgrade to the OEM flathead screws.
